For rent: lovely small chalet on quiet campground in Zeegse, Drenthe
In the year 2015 we got a nice place on the quiet campground De Groene Valk in Zeegse. I started building a small chalet there.
The job was a lot bigger than I thought, as usual with sef-builders ;-) but the result is satisfying: at last in spring 2016 the house as you see above was finished.
In order to save on the costs and also because I like welcoming people on this nice spot, we decided to rent it to holiday makers.
The chalet is fit for 2 tot sleep in a kingsize bed, and 4 to sit in the living, on the terrace or at the kitchen table. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and baking.
The house lies in the rear end of the camping, very quiet, and looks over it towards the valley of the Zeegser Loopje, a small creek, part of the creek system of the Drentsche Aa. This is one of the last naturally streaming and meandering creek systems of Europe and know as a, probably the, top landscapes in the Netherlands.
The national Park is the centre zone of the wider National Brook and Villages Landscape, a picturescque area with many tiny villages, thatchroofed farms, creeks and bridges. The area is ideal for hikers and bikers, for everybody who enjoys nature in a pure form.
